We’re proud to support the Women’s Wealth Alliance and their newly released white paper, Women, Wealth and the Workplace. This important research highlights the real experiences of women working in personal finance and sheds light on the growing opportunities within the sector.
Despite women currently representing only 18% of financial planners, an impressive 93% of those surveyed said they would recommend a career in personal finance to others. This comes at a time when a significant shift in private wealth towards women is already underway in the UK, making progress and representation more important than ever.
Our Head of Strategic Planning, Denise Webster, shared her thoughts on the importance of supporting the research:
“At IBOSS, we believe a gender-diverse team fosters stronger collaboration and better representation. We’re proud to support research that raises awareness, helping break down barriers. Many women who choose this career path find it rewarding and flexible. With the UK wealth shift towards women, the timing has never been better.”
Supporting initiatives like this is an important step in driving awareness, breaking down barriers and helping to encourage more women into the profession.
We look forward to seeing how this work develops and how it can continue to support positive change across our industry.
