Marketing Manager
Mark’s career spans over 16 years in financial services after joining IBOSS in 2009. Initially providing essential business support, his early roles laid a solid foundation for understanding every aspect of the business and the intricacies of investment products. This role also allowed him to work closely with advisers, gaining valuable insights into their unique approaches and day-to-day challenges, which has proven invaluable in shaping his deep understanding of adviser needs. Mark’s subsequent position as our eSwitch Co-Ordinator further enhanced his expertise in communications, as he ensured clients received accurate and efficient quarterly reviews.
As Marketing Manager since 2016, Mark leads all marketing activities at IBOSS, overseeing content creation, branding, and multi-channel delivery, working closely with the Business Development Team to align marketing efforts with sales objectives.
With a proven track record of driving growth and enhancing brand presence at IBOSS, he has spearheaded numerous impactful initiatives, including the creation and development of our website, webinar series, email campaigns and sales materials that have supported lead generation and AUM growth.
Key Responsibilities Day-to-Day:
- Developing and delivering marketing strategies aligned with IBOSS’s business objectives.
- Creating high-quality materials and content that promote IBOSS’ key messages to drive engagement and lead acquisition across multiple channels, including email, social, and video.
- Managing PR and communications to strengthen the brand’s position in the market.
- Organising webinars to enhance adviser engagement and brand awareness.

Outside of Work
Outside of work, Mark is well known for his love of travel, always looking for opportunities to explore new destinations and make the most of his holiday calendar. As a father of two young children, his weekends have taken a new direction—swapping Saturdays at the football for Saturdays at various local soft play centres (where the action is just as intense). When he’s not chasing after his kids or his dog around Boroughbridge, he enjoys catching the latest documentary series and sharing a laugh with friends and family.
